I know this podcast will not appeal to everyone, as it is a podcast about how to refashion a beaded necklace into a headband. However, being that it is a podcast, and that it was useful, I still wanted to share with you why:
- Demonstrations of what she instructed
- Laid out all materials/points necessary and up front.
- Kept dialogue short.
- Music was upbeat.
- Tone of voice was upbeat.
- Kept reinforcing the simplicity of the project.
- Appealed to our senses.
... One of these days I will stop using bullet points or number points!
I agree that she kept it very concise and did not drag along the steps. I found it helpful that the set was so clean so I wasn't visually distracted by "what was on the wall" but rather what she was doing and saying. I barely heard the music which was good so I wasn't distracted but felt she could have projected her voice a bit more!
ReplyDeleteI love crafty podcasts! Making things are fun and this lady keeps it very simple.
ReplyDeleteI like the podcast that you chose because it is very clear and it doesn't overwhelm with extraneous material - it is right to the point! It is definitely a good one because you want to keep watching it even if you're not going to remake a bead necklace.
ReplyDeleteI also love crafty podcasts!!
ReplyDeleteI really appreciated the way you described the podcast (THE BULLETS!)
You made it apply to the task in your explanation
